Time passes by so fast and during the last months many things have happened in SIP! Since January a bunch of new volunteers have arrived in Kronoberg and they are now working in different projects and fields in and around Växjö. Most of them will stay in Sweden for 12 months and it is nice to have many different nationalities and cultural backgrounds in the volunteer project and also to see that they can contribute their skills and experiences to the projects they are participating in. We are sure that volunteering is not only an enrichment for the volunteers themselves but for everyone who is working with them! If you haven’t met the ”new” volunteers so far, you can here read a short summary of them:
Masha (Russia) and Stefan (Moldova) are supporting in Fenixgården in Älmhult and working in the field of youth work.
Florian (France) is volunteering in Palladium in Växjö and is helping with the events and activites happening there.
Esther (Spain) and Gabriella (Hungary) are working in Funkibator / TLC, here in Växjö. Besides helping with the work they are also leading their own activites in the project.
Mathieu (France) is participating as volunteer in Alvesta Exhibition hall. His work considers many different tasks connected to preparing and holding exhibitions.
Giulia (Italy) and Laura (Germany) are new volunteers in Globala Kronoberg. Their tasks differ from helping with the administrative work to organising activities for Globala.
We are very happy to see that EVS is growing more and more in our region and we hope that the volunteers will have an unforgettable experience in Sweden!
